Wat is de Caroline Radio Club?
De Caroline Radio Club is sinds 1978 actief. Tot 1990 gaf de club 1 x per kwartaal het clubmagazine ‘Offshore’ (voorheen: Caroline Radio Nieuws’, daarvoor ‘Caroline & Mi Amigo Bulletin’ en in 1978 ‘Mi Amigo Bulletin’ uit, de club heette in dat jaar ‘Mi Amigo Radio Club’ (MARC).
De club is hiermee gestopt i.v.m. financiele redenen. Het ledenaantal liep nogal terug van meer dan 400 leden in 1979 tot onder de 100 in 1989. Daardoor was het niet meer op te brengen het blad op een verantwoorde financiele manier uit te blijven geven. De huidige activiteiten van de CRC zijn het samenstellen en up-to-date houden van de zogeheten zeezenderdossiers. Deze dossiers en nog tal van zgn. ‘collector items’ zijn nu online.
